15. Information Regarding the Final In-Person Proctored Exam
 This final is a proctored, closed-book exam that will be administered in class through D2L. You must bring your laptop to the classroom and complete the exam within the scheduled class period.
- Coverage: The final is cumulative. All topics covered in this semester.
- Exam Schedule: The exam schedule for the two sections is given below
Date:Tuesday, 05/05/2026
Time:1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Room:UNA158 (where we hold our class meetings during the semester)
- Format
- a. Approximately 35 multiple choice questions.
- b. No word problems will be include in the final exam.
- c. Everyone will have a slightly different problem set, but question types will be similar.
- Exam Duration 120 minutes (2 hours).
- Logistics
- a. You may bring one letter-sized formula sheet (no examples permitted).
- b. You must bring your own calculator if you want to use a physical one.
- c. You must bring your laptop to take the exam on D2L.
- d. You are encouraged to print out the flowcharts available on the course webpage.
Note: I will create a webpage similar to the one from Midterm Exam #3. This page will include all tables, flowcharts, and an online TI-84 calculator.
Resources Not Allowed
- a. The course webpage will not be accessible during the exam
- b. All ISLA apps will be disabled.
- Make-up exam: There will be no makeup midterm exam unless:
1. You provide a university approved documented proof verifying an unavoidable absence; and
2. You contact me before the scheduled exam.
If approved, the makeup must be completed within one week of the original exam date. Refer to the syllabus for the full policy. Emails requesting to re-open an exam without this documentation will be ignored.
