Assignments
This is a group assignment, and each team member must contribute equally. Please include a slide at the end of your presentation that details each member's contributions. All team members are expected to submit your team's presentation deck. Submission Due: Sunday, 11:30 PM.
  1. Finalize the your HTML presentation based on your STA321 you selected last week.
    • a. Title Slide – Introduce the presentation topic with a clear and engaging title, along with your name, date, and any relevant branding information.
    • b. Agenda Slide – Provide an overview of the key topics or sections to be covered.
    • c. Transitional Slides – Use these slides to smoothly guide the audience from one topic to the next, often with a brief recap or preview. Keep consistemcy of design style.
    • d. Content Slides – Present the main information, using visuals, bullet points, and concise text to convey key ideas. Try to use bullet points and key words and avoid complete sentences and paragraphs.
    • e. Conclusion Slide – Summarize the main points, reinforce the key message, and provide a clear closing statement.
    • f. Additional Slides (Optional) – Include Q&A, references, or a thank-you slide as needed.
  2. Evaluation criteria:
    • a. The content of the presentation: rigor and layout
    • b. The esthetics of slide design: colors, fonts, figures, and tables, etc.
  3. Submission Preparation and Requirements
    • a. Publish your complete presentation on RPubs.
    • b. Place both RMD and HTML of your presentation in a folder in your GitHub repository.
    • d. Submission to D2L Dropbox: (1). The URL of your presentation on GitHub. (2). The RMD source code of your presentation
